Financial Literacy Month continues as we start talking about debt. To start, here are some great tips to avoid getting in to major debt.Debt isn't always a bad thing. When used to purchase appreciating assets like a business or a home, it is very beneficial but when used to purchase depreciating assets like a tv (consumer goods), it may not be in your best interest to do so. Make sure to avoid high-interest debt if you can as it can be very costly.
