Responsibilities: Perform duties necessary for the preparation of files for audit, review and compilation engagements Apply knowledge of tax forms, basic tax concepts, computer applications and other source material to prepare personal tax returns Provide computerized bookkeeping services for clients as required Develop specialized technical expertise Keep abreast of current and emerging technical developments Prepare and present assignments deliverable to clients with partners and ensure client satisfaction and confidentiality Review work in progress and communicate engagement status and other issues with partners
Qualifications: A college diploma or university degree in accounting is preferred Candidates who are currently enrolled or are interested in pursuing the Chartered Professional Accountant designation also preferred At least two years of related work experience A commitment to learning in a technology oriented environment Problem-solving capabilities, analytical skills and creativity Sound decision-making ability Ability to write well and prepare organized, purposed correspondence and reports Competence in using relevant computer software applications Ability to work as part of a team on a number of projects simultaneously Self-starter with strong organizational ability and commitment to meeting deadlines Client service approach with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
